Lovely back lighting and composition, but I find the noise on the face a little too distracting - did you try to bring up the light on that? Possibly a screen overlay may have worked more effectively, or leaving them a little darker would also be fine so its silhouetted

There are two ways to look at this image. From a strictly technical standpoint, it has some significant faults which fail to provide a positive impression - from the over use of grain to the rather dark and unappealing exposure. On the other hand, given the title in combination with the technical issues, it is incredibly effective from an artistic standpoint - the author is trying to make an important point and does so. Benefit of the doubt to the author - well done.

I find this to be a compelling image. The strong colors really making this an image with a lot of impact. If I had one small (very) nit, it would be to wonder if the center road really works dead center. I guess I'd have to see it with an off-center placement.
