I would have liked this much better if you did a landscape crop, brining more emphasis on the person who is buried under the corn. As it is, the people in the background do not add much to the photo. 5

Post challenge: I understand that I missed what the author wanted to convey here. Sorry if I got the technique wrong. I am new to digital photography, and admit my mistake. Still, I fail to see any aesthetic appeal in this image, sorry:-(

Nice composition, but surely the bat is well behind the ball! ;-)

A god idea and the focus is spot on.
Maybe its the angle but it does look very staged and theres no real impression of movement but the image image meets the challenge perfectly. 8/10.

ETA: My comment below about cloning out wires only applies to Advanced Editing Rules, so, it looks like the other option would have been to get someone to toss the ball repeatedly up into frame, hoping to catch one at the right height & in the focal plane etc... (very tediously like a water drop shot).

My Original Comment:
Cool idea. I might have used some line to suspend the ball fully in the frame (I just learned from the forums, and to my surprise, that such things are legal and cloning out thin wires/lines is generally considered incidental). You certainly nailed the challenge and in a creative way. Kudos!

Comment by anwarrana:
nice concept but just if the bat is comming to hit the ball, apparently they almost show up at same level so it would have been better to keep the bat also in same focus from the top as the ball, it feels like the ball is gona pass away without touching the bat.
