All Icelanders are extremely proud of you. Obviously, you are a very gifted "beginner", but it is as important to have caring and supportive family around you and you seem to have just that. Don't worry about envious people, the better one is, the more one encounters such individuals. Just human nature I guess. Keep on studying the fantastic world of photography - I think you can still learn a trick or two from your old man!
