I don't think you have to keep all of the complete blocks in the frame, so you could get a little closer and let part of the out blocks cross the border. This might help take some attention away from the background, which is a little to dominate. Very creative, so keep working on the composition. |

Role Reversalby robsmithComment by wingy: The scar draws attention to itself, but I don't get the impression that it's supposed to be an important part of the shot. The item at the bottom right is distracting as well and some better lighting might have made this more interesting. I like the idea for the shot though, and I think the crop works well. |

Chilli?by robsmithComment by pinback: I like the idea, but the lighting needs some work - it's a bit flat at the moment. Looks like you used a flash - perhaps try a longer exposure with ambient light? |
