Stacked Stonesby tivoComment by rennie: The wood looks pink on my monitor. At first I thought it's a piece of flesh... Very nice DOF. I like the pattern made by stones. I like the color scheme (despite odd effect on the wood - probably my monitor). I don't think it is such a treasure indeed, but I guess such stack of stones would drive my attention as well. Nice composition. Good luck :) Bumping up. |

Stacked Stonesby tivoComment by mark082: What a wonderfully beautiful place. I'm not sure if this really goes with the challenge, though. Also, with the miniscule dimensions required by dpchallenge, I can't really tell if the focus is spot on or not. Right now it's making me want to reach for some glasses, but that could just be the image size. 6 |

Stacked Stonesby tivoComment by EstimatedEyes: Nice landscape, pretty sky, cool stones on the beach ... a nice little treasure, but not really hidden imo. Pretty picture bumps to a 6; lack of challenge connection stops it from going higher. |

Square Noseby tivoComment by Yo_Spiff: You came in very close to where my circle entry did and probably for the same reason: The required shape was not a prominent enough feature in the eyes of many voters. I gave this an 8, however. |

Square Noseby tivoComment by atupdate: Back to comment and bump: I agree that the nose is square but it doesn't speak to me as the strongest subject in this image. If the eyes were less buggy looking, that would be the main subject. But since they are a little uncomfortable to stare at (Pun intended), the leading lines of the face bring my attention down to the nose. But the nose in itself is not that compelling and my eyes wander off to other areas in the photo. I love the post processing you did. |

Square Noseby tivoComment by Konador: The main subject should be square, but I'd call the cow here the main subject rather than the (arguably) square nose, sorry. I also don't care for the over-processed look. |
