Interesting editorial comment. I like that there are no kinds in the park - adds to the message.

Comment by meyers:
This looks cluttered, as the lines made by the sewing needles, the spiral thing, and the pen, all lead away from the image. It also looks a little flat. Given those materials, I might have made a nest with the ribbon and that other ribbon-looking thing in the upper left, placed the smaller items inside, and took a shot "peeking in".

The image is fun, although I think a walnut would have worked better (I know - working with what's available). :D

As for the new lightbox, the lighting looks well balanced. You're getting some nice side lighting (in a subtle way), and the subject is illuminated consistently without showing any harshness/blowouts. Would be interesting to see results with something that has a more reflective surface (glass, chrome, etc...).

Seems to be working just fine. Well done!

The pipewrench - a tool of slow torture if used in this manner. How about a tryptich (or some other series) of images along this same line using other types of wrenches?

I think your entry suffered some of the same issues as mine. Not quite sharp enough and the red background took away, rather than added. We'll know better next time!! LOL

This is a nice idea but I think that the lack of sharpness hurts a little. You met the challenge well but it just needs to be fine tuned a little.
