Blame Hofmannby CamabsComment by MaryO: Had to google Hoffman; am assuming you are referencing the one who created LSD. Not a terribly trippy picture, though. You appear to be holding a letter and maybe sunk down in despair over its contents, but there's an awful lot of bookcase and that must be there for a reason ... maybe I found the wrong Hoffman to make sense of this? |

Blame Hofmannby CamabsComment by bassbone: cool perspective shot - but there is some unusual pixelation issues on your face that are distracting |

Blame Hofmannby CamabsComment by JawnyRico: Looks like you have been busy. I think this is a great idea, but im sure many are thinking its not a portrait. But if this is who you are, its a portrait. Nice work. |

Blame Hofmannby CamabsComment by Quasimojo: I love the composition but personally I don't like the toning - I think it might work better as a black and white without the red cast. |

Ceci n'est pas une luneby CamabsComment by Camabs: Post Challenge: Thanks for the many kind comments. I was a bit surprised by people saying there was too much open space. Have they ever looked at the amount of open space around the moon? ;) Still, their comments are helpful, as they help me understand the score. I am very happy with alexzen's comment, because it tells me that I succeeded in conveying my idea to at least one person. I was a bit suprised of booboo_goon's comment. Why does a self-proclaimed minimalist wish there was more to see? ;) |

Ceci n'est pas une luneby CamabsComment by alexzen: Yes! There is this tension where I want the orange to move, but it doesn't. The use of negative space is very well done. The relationship of the orange to the black space is powerful. The simplicity of this image works very well. This is what photography is all about. |
