I think if the focus had been set to where the tree is, the sharp face would blend in better. Also, I don't feel like the fence in the foreground really adds anything.

A charming little place! Wouldn't want to walk too close to the edge, though! Colors may be a bit on the enhanced side, but I think it adds a certain postcard-type charm.

Nice play on words. I like the gritty textures - looks like a fascinating place, and ironic for a challenge called something "new".
