I love the processing you did on this image. It has such a nostalgic feel. Too bad, it seems many voters didn't read the details of the challenge, and didn't accept your figurative wings. I have no suggestions for you. I love the composition (even the vast open space in the foreground), and the color and subject. The children's concentration on the balloons is charming.

Sorry, but I just don't get this. It looks like an interesting shot, there's a real story being told here. However, I don't get the 'runway' reference at all, and can't see how it ties in to this challenge.
