I love the off-center placement of the sweet spot. I keep trying for it, but almost always miss. (sigh) Good work. Nice b&w.

Lovely. And clever. Best of all, not overdone. Not over-sharpened. Not over-processed. Not over-anything. Except good. It's very good!

Nice control! I don't know what you're doubting yourself for ... you seem to have this bendy thing workin' fine. Imagine your (fabulous) Penguins on Ice with a bit of implied motion coming from the Lensbaby effect. Sweet spot centered right on the face, or on the joined hands (not too much blur ... it's too good a pic as it is). You could do that, right? I think LB is best when it makes an already great photograph subtly different, rather than a so-so photograph radically different. You can take great photographs, and you can get that LB effect right where you want it. And that's all there is!

I like how you've kept the upper corner so sharp, and then gradually let the image melt away. The Lensbaby definitely takes some time to get used to. You'll start to get a feel for it the more often you shoot with it.

I feel like I'm in the act of throwing myself into that pile of leaves. You seem to have the bendy action down pretty well.

Charlene, I think you did a great job of getting all those leaves in focus and nothing else. Mind you, I almost fell off my chair in a dizzy fit lol.
