I think this would have worked better in B/W. The colors in the background and the various textures of the seams, etc. are distracting. In addition, you could bring out more of the horsehair using contrast in B/W.

Hopefully this will be taken as constructive criticism...around the wine glass there is some leftover of editing that wasn't done carefully enough. The idea is nice, just a little more time in editing would help you out...

Image does not capture the imaginantion. PP could have been improved as there is a distincy halo above the fruit on my monitor.

There appears to be a type of halo around the top of the fruit and glass from the processing. I like the shot but feel it would have looked nicer if cropped to be more to one side.

Very good image. However, I am a little distracted by a few things. The black swirl mark in the background to the left of the glass is very distracting because it's only in this one area. I assume this is wrinkles in the fabric backdrop. The easy solution is to pull the backdrop flat and brush out the folds...it does take patience. You could also make wrinkles across the entire backdrop to give a consistent appearance. The next aspect of this image that is distracting is at the bottom of the glass. There is some type of unnatural halo. It looks like you added a blur to the entire image and removed it over the glass/fruit area. The correction to this is just to zoom in closer, use a smaller brush, and take more time to delete the blur.

Overall, this is a great concept and the image is well exposed. I encourage you to re-do this shot with my suggestions and submit this to the monthly free-study.

Nice setup and a cute little face in the glass... overall the shot seems a bit grainy and flat though.
