If I had been thinking, I might have known this was yours. I almost feel like I am right there. I can actually hear the crack of the bat.

This is a really good shot Charlene. I think like others have said, this is something that would really benefit from a larger display. There's so much detail that had to get squashed to fit into the viewing area. I love all the colorful colored fan dots. The sky is beautiful and the color of the field is vibrant. I love that there's no blur too.

Vey interesting image for a large print. But this kind of subject suffers too much at dpc resolution. Just a very few dpchallengers have the secret (in a safelock probably) on how to process this kind of image in order to preserve a fair amount of detail while eliminating noise color artifacts. I am not one of them though.

It looks like the NR filter has reduced the amount of detail a bit too much. I think a tighter crop at the top would have helped in the overall balance, but the main problem here is the limitation of dpc resolutuion.

Exposure is very good, I like how the unavoidable blown out lights are not pure whites. Exposure of the crowds under shadow looks abot 1/3 f stop too low, or maybe there were just not any people up there?. :-)

You are getting better and better all the time!!

I really like this picture! I love how it's in black and white but it is kind of hard to see the swing. It blends into the trees a little to much but other wise i really like it! Good Job!

What a vivid shot, Charlene!! I'm sorry it didn't do better; I think it would have deserved it. Love the sky and all the colorful people - it's awesome.

A great tribute to a great game. I really liked this shot - the colors are so vibrant and teh sky is a wonderful complement to the field. I almost wished there was a bit more of the field in play here...

...my favourite misheard line ever!!!

What a great picture of the K at night. I have to say that nlike some people I really like the amount of sky at the top of the picture as it gives the pitch a symettrical balance

Fantastic colours and generally makes me look forward to the long summer nights for the upcoming season

2 men on and...what are they doing at home plate? Very vivid! I'd crop some of that sky out to make it seem even more panoramic, and tilt it about 1 degree counter-clockwise.

If you had a pair of feet coming out of the left side of the frame I'd be on the floor laughing.
