Motivational Poster Outtakeby WriteHeartComment by JerseyGenie: Nice photo in both. Just from a graphic perspective ... this is the better layout. With the type above and below (on the other piece) it sort of forms a centering process, keeping all the type below works better graphically ... and it is easier to read that way also.
Nice job on both. |

Let your heart SOAR as high as it will. Refuse to be average! ~ A.W. Tozerby WriteHeartComment by violinist123: Critique Club feedback -
Everything I would say abou this entry you already figured outfor yourself and are showing off in your 'what I would do know' shot. Only commentary I would add would be look for a font that delivers the message with authority. Forum experts aside, fonts such as Times New Roman are not the tools of designers who lack creativity - they have a look to them that adds a feeling of authority and impact to the message they deliver.
The photo itself here is quite beautiful. Could consider centering it in the frame or cropping wider a bit so you can push it up a bit more into the right corner.
Good work! |

Day 14by WriteHeartComment by CapeSail: Very nice, what great DOF and I always like the dark backgrounds on flower/plant shots, it really makes the subject stand out even more. |

Day 11by WriteHeartComment by carofo: A good subject for B&W and it is engagind because the pig is looking at us. Technically, I'd suggest processing the image to provide more contrast and more sharpening to really show off the texture of the hair (fur?). As it is, I think there is not enough tonal difference between your subject and the BG. |

Writing in the Cloudsby WriteHeartComment by Melethia: Very nice PS work indeed! Good use of diagonals in the composition, with the slope of the ground and the dark clouds at the top coming down to meet the ground almost. Creates a rule of thirds only in triangles instead of lines, sorta. At any rate, it works! |
