Day Five Isabelleby TCGuruComment by ErinM: The softness and subtle desat works well on this portrait of your little cutie. I love how that little tuft of baby hair poofs up in the back. :) |

Day Five Isabelleby TCGuruComment by SandyP: And so darned CUTE!!! I love how you processed this, it looks like there is just a tiny tiny bit of color showing thru, and it is such a pretty effect. Like you get the advantages of a black and white but the pow/pop of a bit of color. I love to do that on some of my pictures too.
She really is beautiful, and I think anything that cute deserves to paid tribute many many times in portraiture! Keep 'em coming!

Super Powerby TCGuruComment by MAKamyk: Good try, it is very hard to do this technique with diffused light source like a cloudy day. Great effort. |

Day Four Isabelleby TCGuruComment by Louis: Very beautiful, great treatment; the eyes are particularly well done. Excellent job. If I can offer one petty critique. :( If it were me, I would have used either the healing brush, the clone stamp tool at between 60% and 75% opacity, or the burn tool at 2% on shadows to take care of the variegation in her nose, attempting to use these tools with restraint to make a perfectly even shadow in the centre, working out to the visible gradient at the edges. Lovely portrait nonetheless. |
