The light is perfect here and so is the upper half.. but it's the legs I have an issue with.. they go down and get lost somewhere and then get cropped off very awkwardly.. and I think your eyes get slightly lost in the shadows.. but these are just issues with this particular picture.. other then that I think you're up with a great set up and a lovely model :D

Can you put up some bat houses / roosts in trees near your chimney to encourage them to go there instead of into your home ?

That, combined with some fine-mesh wire over the chimney sound like a good plan to me who knows nothing about bats.
