The back lighting takes away from this. You could have dodged the bird a little to bring it out more.

I get the 'diffuse glow' feeling with this picture. Not sure if you used this filter, but it 'feels' like it. I think this pic has some appaeling features and some that are less appaeling (what else is new?). I like how the buildings stand out from their surroundings. I also like the contrast in the pitcure, though I think you've gone a bit too far on the bright side. The sky and some of the brighter parts in the picture are burnt or close to that. The arced roof is hard to distinguish from the sky.

I think this pic might benefit from a little more depth, either an element somewhat closer to the photographer or more detail in the sky (clouds, if available)

When you're shooting directly into the light like this it's really hard to not underexpose your subject (the bird) and lose all the details, it's also nearly impossible to not get that purple fringing where the dark edges meet the light. If you go round the other side of the tree with the sun on your back you can usually avoid it. Not easy with birds I know, they often don't wait for you to find the right spot.

I don't know what sort of photography this is. It's got a nice fuzziness to it, but there's nothing to hold my attention.

Hooray, Jojo! :) Just love the light on her face and the many types of yellows throughout the shot.

I wondered if this was yours. This is really an adorable photo! I love how you tied it together with the inner yellow border. Beautiful lighting for the scene too.
