Daisy Editedby TCGuruComment by see: I remember a show for kids when I was a youngling. After mentioning all the fun things the show had to offer, they said “if your not careful you might learn something”. That might be the case here. In truth if your first image was taken by me, I would have reviewed my card, and probably deleted the photo, Yet you saw the diamond in the rough, Nice edit! |

Daisy Editedby TCGuruComment by Jaker: I really like the deep greens of the background, as it makes the flower pop out. I was flipping back and forth between the two images and I was wishing that you had more space to work with on the right side, but no go. whaddya gonna do, right? The only thing that kinda nags me is that little offshoot from the stem, just under the flower. If this were advanced editing I would cloned that little sucker out. :-) Nice transformation! |

Worm Friend Editedby TCGuruComment by Ann: Much improved, definitely. I like the crop, increased contrast, and the color shift towards the warmer colors, and the sharpening is good. I'm not convinced the vignette adds anything. My eye is drawn to the vignette, instead of the worm and leaf. Maybe a more gradual tonal shift on the right side of the image, or darken all of the concrete instead of just the right edge. |

Daisy Editedby TCGuruComment by Ann: Definitely an improvement. I like the improved contrast. It has a lot more depth. I would like to have seen more detail in the flower petals, but I think the petals are probably a little blown out in the original shot, so that isn't really resolvable in editing.
I'm not sure I like the squarish crop. I think cropping the top off was good, but I'm wondering if a skinnier crop (cut some off the right side) would work better, since the lines in the shot are all vertical. |

Daisy Editedby TCGuruComment by CNovack: Very nicely done. The added punch of color and the contrasts are greater in this after shot than the before. The photo has more visual impact with the greater contrasts such that the daisy now shines out from the backdrop - and the color hues are richer and deeper rather than flat as the original shows. |
