Has a bit of vignetting that you might get DQ'd for under basic editing rules. Unless it was shot that way. Aside from pointing that out, I like this simple composition.

This will easily be one of my top picks. The midnight blue tones and grain and vignette are all perfect. The sailboat is placed smartly in the frame -- the position, size and angle are just right. Nicely composed and executed.

Meets Challenge: 2 of 3. Not so much low key, to me, as just a dark shot with a white boat in it. To me, low key is about how the darkness is augmented by the few highlights to describe the form of your subject. That's not this.
Technical: 2 of 3. A decent shot. It's a little grainy. That might just be because of the resize and jpg, though.
Emotion: 2 of 3.
Awe: 0 of 1.
