Day 8: No More Flowers!by EstimatedEyesComment by slaakso: It does look like a pile of donuts. I like the fact that you are stepping out of your comfort zone and experimenting with different subject matter. I don't eat Cheerios but i like the macro of them, makes em look good enough to eat. |

Zabriskie Pointby EstimatedEyesComment by h2: nice colors. the many different textures, the absence of shadows and the soft focus make it look like an abstract macro.
a slightly lower angle leading to the inclusion of the horizon and a less dominant peak in the foreground might have enhanced this shot |

Day 5: Lupineby EstimatedEyesComment by slaakso: I like the focus on the flower and the limited DOF. The colors are incredible. I also really like the background showing but not in focus, it looks like the flower was inside and this was shot through a dusty window. I also like the tip of the flower aligned with the top of the hill. |
