Your picture is well done and I love the look of these old signs. But it's the story behind this that makes this special; it reminds me to to take those few extra minutes when I'm in my hometown to look around at all those old buildings that are slowing disappearing.

I like the muted colors in the mural and the old-fashioned nature of the hotel sign. From this, one would think the place old and small but well kept and nicely accomodating.

I think this is a good shot. You've got the sign, the name of the street, very good color and light, and somehow the "End Fresno" seems fitting for what you've captured. A good but sad story to go along with your shot. Seems a lot of stuff is going by the wayside these days in favor of mass-produced same-everywhere kind of places. Very sad indeed.
