Sunbow on Bridalveil Fallby EstimatedEyesComment by bassbone: what a majestic viewpoint - that water is sure pouring over the falls! the fact that you got such an amazing rainbow just sets this one apart.
My only critique is the halo-ing of the colors in the sky right around the mountains and rocks. a bit of color blending in hue/saturation or in selective colors should fix that one... |

Flowby EstimatedEyesComment by bassbone: lovely smooth water shot - maybe a bit dark on the water - but you did a great job to avoid blowing anything out! I almost would have liked to see just a bit more of the branches/ trees in the foreground - it would have made a nice natural frame for the bottom of the image. |

Alpenglow - Alternate Frame No. 1by EstimatedEyesComment by bassbone: I really liked this version of the half dome shot. The composition is a bit better in my opinion as half dome and the moon seem to balance each other nicely. The greens in the foreground provide wonderful textures and richness to the shot. Nice work |

Alpenglowby EstimatedEyesComment by bassbone: I like one of the outtakes better than your entry. The thing I noticed about the FS entry is an apparent cyan halo artifact around Half Dome and the mountains around it. The outtakes don't seem to have this artifact.
Compositionally, all the shots are solid and provide an interesting and more unique view of one of the most famous rocks in the world. |

Alpenglowby EstimatedEyesComment by ArpeggioAngel: I liked this shot because it was a different perspective from what is normally seen of Half Dome. I am guessing it may have fared a little better without the border. |

Alpenglow - Alternate Frame No. 1by EstimatedEyesComment by colorcarnival: I like this better than your FS entry. The front seems a little more dynamic compared to the flat forground in the original. The leaves lead up to the moon? and you still have that gorgeous sunlit peak in the background. |

Grape Wranglerby EstimatedEyesComment by elsie: Very interesting shot, but I can't quite tell what he's doing, and I'd like to see his face. Like the strong foot, though. |

Grape Wranglerby EstimatedEyesComment by glad2badad: Are 'Grape Wranglers' cowboys?! Looks like a statue you'd see at a winery. As a photo, the image is composed just fine. The colorcast is a little on the orangy side IMO. Good luck in the challenge. |
