I have no idea why this didn't do better with the voters, I thought it had a wonderful down home feel to the shot and the sepia tones added just the right touch of nostalgia.

I thought your subject matter was great the lighting was spot on and the composition worked well, I scored it a 7.

IMHO you were robbed.

Aw, rubik's cube graveyard? Good dof, great colors. The reflection isn't strong enough to hold its own imho and I think it's distracting. A plainer background would also be less distracting, especially if that dark circle-spot wasn't there.
