I think this is a wonderful, thoughtful image. I am particularly taken by the way you allowed her shoulder to eclipse the corner of the frame, creating a connection between viewer and viewed. Well done!

most of the shots don't use the contrast of light/dark background properly...you do...but your shot is just a bit to dark...levels/brightness

the sideways glance of the girl seems to be looking at the painting that is partially cropped but but I find it interesting how the woman in the larger portrait seems to be studying the girl more than the other way around
