Don't Jump....by ISivicComment by lewiss: In my opinion, this would be even more effective if:
- You shuffle a little to the left, so the right foot covers the crack in the wall.
- Crop out everything but the gravel
- A thin tall aspect ratio might give a toppling feeling
And if you have the time, it might be interesting to rake the gravel to produce horizontal or vertical lines etc. Then again, it might not - hard to tell unless you try! You could probably have a play in photoshop to get the effect before you go to the bother.
Also, you could try a few different pairs of shoes.
Don't fall off if you decide to experiment again! |

"Incarceration Station"by ISivicComment by pogopog: Wish there was a sad face in that top window...needs something...even a colored ribbon hanging from one of the bars...not much for the human brain to digest here. |

"Incarceration Station"by ISivicComment by jbirkman: I wonder if this would seem a better fit for the challenge if it were cropped to eleminate more of the green parts of the tree? Nice colors. |

"Incarceration Station"by ISivicComment by Skip: nice time of day to get the right lighting. wish you had either rotated to straighten up the tilt, or rotated to accentuate it. the trees on the left are a distraction; i think if you played with the rotation and cropping, you'd have a killer image. |

"Incarceration Station"by ISivicComment by KDO: Nice use of color, but perhaps it is a bit too pleasant for your subject matter. The contrast of the lines of the building and the spokes and spines of the shrubbery, is striking. Interesting framing, angle, and point of view. |

"Incarceration Station"by ISivicComment by photographist: I like the idea and the overall image... I would have preferred that you corrected the verticals. By the way in doing so, I think the composition would have been helped too, by reducing some of the featureless dark areas in the upper left quadrant of the image. Nice effort. 5 |
