Fervant Prayerby GalactorComment by violinist123: Critique Club feedback -
Nice bit of bokeh in the background. I would concentrate on making sure your focus is accurate, trying different compositionts and add a bit of contrast to the shot to give the statue some life. |

Fervant Prayerby GalactorComment by scrum8: Was there a side bet to see who could shoot this statue the best? I would have moved slightly right to get less of the sky and get more of the tree in the background. |

Fervant Prayerby GalactorComment by bassbone: the bokeh in the background is not very flattering - improving the smoothness of the background (shallower DOF on the statue) and adjusting the colors so it is more pleasing might help here |

Dog at Restby GalactorComment by terje: Seems out of focus, and overexposed. The composition is way too tight, or actually it lacks a composition alltogheter. Not a keeper..

A Salt and Batteryby GalactorComment by Brad: A real quick and easy white balance is as easy as:
Image, Adjustments, Match Color, click the Neutralize box and watch what happens. (Photoshop)
Minor Color Intensity and/or Luminance slider adjustments can be done on some pics, but this one was basically correct with the Neutralize box checked. It's that easy. |

A Salt and Batteryby GalactorComment by Galactor: To all people who didn't get it, and are looking for some sort of explanation... It's a pun on "assault and battery." My original idea was throwing a battery at a box of salt, but those didn't turn out as well. And yes, I looking back on it, I should have changed the white balance... it was a lack of judgement on my part, as I thought the yellow brought the battery out more. Now that I look at it however, definitely not. |
