Well, what is there to say about a 6.5 13th place shot:)

On the positive side, I would say that it was a very good idea and very bold considering DPC generally dislikes nudes. I mean 9 votes of 3 and under is too many but not bad for a nude. I like the composition allot.

The only thing that prevented me from voting higher was the look on her skin and the shoe. I see now that the shadows/highlights is the reason for the look. Without seeing the original I have no way of knowing if it was necessary.

Either way it is a great shot. congrats on the nice finish.

Fantastic shot! I have been away and unable to participate and vote in challenges but if I were around I would have given it an 8 or 9. Why not 10? I partially agree with the comments that noted that it would have been better to highlight the shoe but at the same time I understand why you chose to focus on the string (can't tell if it is a thong or merely string :) My recommendation would have been to take off the shoes entirely and run the string through her toes. First, because me sense is that the shoes are not exactly the same color as the string and to highlight the shoe also would have detracted from the image. Second, I really like the contrast of the wonderful black & white of the skin against the string. All that being said, it is still a wonderful image.
