Bride on the Riverby lovethelightComment by dwterry: OH LOVELY! That one is just going to look gorgeous as a huge print. See if they will go 16x24 or even 20x30 on it. I would keep the 2:3 aspect ratio you have here, because the "negative space" from the height of the trees adds emphasis to her.

Orchardby lovethelightComment by dwterry: I LOVE the wind, the back lighting and the colors. The image shows a very soft and delicate bride. Very feminine. The pattern from the grove of trees is interesting to in that it works well to both frame her and lead your eyes to her. Great composition you've got there.
The one thing I wonder about ... is her extended hand. It begs the question, why is it there? I mean ... I *like* that it is outstretched. I like how it adds to the composition. I think it's the position of the hand that leaves me wondering, why? If she had turned her hand over (facing upward, back edge of the hand toward the camera rather than the thumb) so that looked more like she was inviting or something with her hand. Or grab the lower part of the dress and pull it up to add two angles instead of just one. Anyway, processing on this image is superb. That hand position is the only thing that could be improved.

Duetby lovethelightComment by Sunshine86: Great shot. I am a little surprised at the score not resulting in higher, but really good work anyhow. You know you could save up and grab the new Vagabond II :) -then you wouldn't have to run extension cords quite so far. Great job with the black and white conversion, it works very well. |

Duetby lovethelightComment by escapetooz: the scene is lovely and the lighting is well done but I think something about the posing and expressions kept this from scoring higher. I think there is not a clear emotion or meaning being shown. The fact that they are looking in 2 different directions doesn't help either. Perhaps she could have been doing something on the rock and he could be off in the distance admiring her... or perhaps a more intimate pose on the rocks. Something like that. Just something to create a bit of a story. |

Duetby lovethelightComment by orvaratli: Overall and outstanding image. Well exposed and processed. I would have like though that people where placed on the right so that they would be looking through the image and not having the river valley behind their backs. |
