Placid by lovethelightComment by darnold: Not only is this an awesome shot, just purely beautiful, but I read every single word of your trials and tribulations of taking this. You did an amazing job and dare i say deserve probably even better than a red? At age 19, you are already a genius with a camera, very very talented!! You paid so much attention to getting this shot and getting it right, you've impressed me for sure! |

Bride in the Breezeby lovethelightComment by Jedusi: Love the colours and light on this, and the fly-away hair gives it a very 'real' naturaly feel.
I would consider pullijng the right hand border in a little - but that might just be personal taste.
Good shot. |

Bride in the Breezeby lovethelightComment by dwterry: I love the wind. So many brides worry about the wind and their veil and such ... I think it adds a lot of energy to the shot. I think your crop and framing on this shot are working quite well. The DOF throws the background out of focus, while the brick pattern still makes it interesting.
If anything... probably the only thing I'd change would be to go to an 8x10 crop to remove the black off the right side. Crop just inside the edge of the veil. I usually post my images as full 4x6 proofs and crop later, so I understand you may not have cropped at all. And that's perfectly fine, but it was the only thing I could add to what you already have! |
