Approaching Menaceby e301Comment by Qiki: Haha. Maybe a selective desat with the banana in yellow would have looked cool. Just a thought. |

The Steel Drummerby e301Comment by aerogurl: the subject is so dark and there are so many shapes in the subject that I can not tell if this is a student or not. It looks to be like a street performer in a wheelchair. Maybe a tighter shot would have shown more of the subject. Nice B/W converson. |

The Steel Drummerby e301Comment by bassbone: Nice use of B/W to capture a street musician. Seeing his face a little more would have added to it. It meets the music part of the challenge, but I am not so sure about the School part. 6 |

Approaching Menaceby e301Comment by carofo: A classic one but making it B&W adds drama. I don't think it would have worked as well in color. |

Segregationby e301Comment by pineapple: It's a nice shot - but on my laptop screen it looks like hell. On my graphics screen it looks much better. |

Segregationby e301Comment by glad2badad: Wonderful! Now the question of was this a natural discovery, or did you set it up? Either way it doesn't matter, it's a marvelous photo. I love the B/W tone, you've covered the range very well. The repeating pattern and discrete diagonal lines also adds to the dynamic here. Bravo! Good luck in the challenge. |

Segregationby e301Comment by posthumous: This is my other blue ribbon. I like the thematic notion that segregation emanates downward from the places of power. 10 |
