Blues for Jeanby e301Comment by pointandshoot: You are very observant to have discovered the hidden four-legged creature lurking in the original color version of this photograph. It seems that even the overly-saturated blue was not enough to reveal the creature's existance to many of the voters. Maybe the voters, like Jean, were engrossed in a good book and could not be concerned by trivial monsters. |

Stepping On Itby e301Comment by pineapple: I just could not bring myself to vote of any of the entries for that challenge. I took one look at the thumbs and said, that's it. Usually, I am diligent in voting. At least your entry was a little inspiring. The ramp, a politically motivated architectural adaptation possibly, is an interesting counterpoint to those classic steps. It's like a random frame from an art-observant life, at least as suggested by the freeze-frame walker. |

Stepping On Itby e301Comment by posthumous: My first reaction to this photo is "I hate you!" I was just in the city yesterday trying to take photos like this, and I didn't even know where to begin. Look at the rhythm of this photo, so much of it is dark but it just adds mood without detracting from anything. |

Blues for Jeanby e301Comment by jbahl5: the blue is so bright that it's distracting, but it's a pretty good composition. |

David's Private Lifeby e301Comment by silverfoxx: oh, I didn't know (and still don't really) who David is/was. I thought it's a real man standing there.
and now I will just forget that those are figures, not a real man.
because i think this is one of the few photos that has left such a strong, very strong impression on me.
absolutely brilliant composition as well. |
