The Heavens and The Earthby e301Comment by srbrubaker: Yoho! where is this? It's a fantastic photo location, photographed at the most flattering time of day.
This reminds me of a number of famous old landscape paintings some, I think, by eighteenth century American painters, others by the Dutch masters. (Not up on my art history, would appreciate help here.)
If I scored this by what I see on my monitor, I'd be hard pressed to give it more than a 6 or 7. But it is so strongly evokative of big, beautiful canvasses that I think I can push it up a little. I doubt I'll be voting with the crowd, but what's new. |

The Heavens and The Earthby e301Comment by mlhop05: i like the phoo but the frame is not so apealing, it makes it just a tad to postcardish or like a picture in thebeginning of the bible printed in the 70's.. i know odd comment just what came to mind first. |

A Teen-age Daughterby e301Comment by Arancha: I was sure this one was going to get the blue ribbon, I am sorry I was wrong. From the moment I saw it, I liked it. I gave it a straight 10 from the beginning. I was not surprised when later I saw it was yours, it has the same "feeling" as your "father and son" picture, they are alone in their own world.
