Walking the Dogby e301Comment by posthumous: I like the competing subjects. One is right on the vanishing point: all lines lead to him... and yet he is facing away from us and completely silhouetted. The other faces us, has much more visual interest, but is in a less strategic position, *unless* we think of the lines as leading OUT, rather than in. If that's the case, she is swept up in this geometric outpouring, as are we. I love a picture that forces me to think and rethink, all the while affecting me viscerally. 8 |
