Check Mateby sallycinnamonComment by dtremain: Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see the checkmate. The tops of the black queen & pawn get lost in the black background. Most of the pieces are out of focus - not a deal killer with this shot, but it needs a counterbalance which is not present. |

Benby sallycinnamonComment by glad2badad: I like the expression and posturing of 'Ben'. The photo is a little bit on the soft side, which takes away from it some. Personally, I think the lighting could be a little stronger yet. All JMO of course. :D Good luck in the challenge. |
