I like the idea, but i think this image needs a subject. Is it "Look how pointy these jagged things are?" In that case really get up close and show the jagged things. Or is it "Look at how colorful this flower is" In that case really get a angle that displays that. To me this image doesn't have a point of view. It needs a subject. IMHO

Is this a sunflower? It almost looks like glass but I think it's a sunflower. I'd like to see a bit more DOF....right now it looks as if only the center is in focus but the center is so dark it's really hard to tell. The glare from the flash/light is a bit distracting too.
