Does not have an obvious HDR appearance, though I am certain you did use such techniques. More importantly, though a good product shot, it just does not have anything about it that engages my interest. Seems like the bubbles should, but they don't. Contrast perhaps?

The bottle is oof and i don't know if you did that, but looks like the bottle was moved between the captures. The shadows are really distracting too, but i like the B&W and textures. This doesn't look much HDR for me too. Sorry if i was rude, good luck.

I find the chocolate dust to be distracting in this kind of close up shot.

I like the general idea and much of the setup. The lighter chocolate in front seems to be your main subject - try laying it on it's side to distinguish it from the others and giving us a chance to see the design on top. I'd also try moving the dark chocolate on the right of the main subject slightly further back so it's not competing with the focus of your shot as much.

A different and composition would serve this capture a good deal better. The high key background works with the subject(s), but the shallow depth of field detracts from the overall appeal of the image. I feel like the subject is 9 little candies, so there should be 9 little candies in crisp focus. Also, the chopping crop on the right hand side seems more accidental than composed. I'd like to see this one executed better. 3.

I shall be rating this challenge by the following criteria:

1 - Not HDR in my opinion

3 - HDR is way over-done, in my opinion

5 - A reasonable use of HDR, but not a very engaging photo, in my opinion

7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion

10 - A fantastic use of HDR, and an out of this world photo, in my opinion
