Nature's Artby hajekaComment by Covert_Oddity: I think your DOF might be a little too narrow. The sharp part seems almost detached from the rest and because of the angle it's sitting at, isn't particularly interesting.
I think the colours also aren't helping here, there's not a whole lot of contrast in the entire scene, but it's not really soft enough to take it down that path either. |

Oct 31 - Hockeyby hajekaComment by scooter97: I like how you have captured this moment before the burst of action. Especially the anticipation of the goalie and the defender in the goal. I'm impressed with the lack of noise for a shot set at ISO 3200. Your link to the other hockey pics is very helpful and has some great action shots. |

Nov 03 - Ducksby hajekaComment by one2one: Actually, he is looking at you. If he were to turn his head and point it at you he wouldn't be able to see you completely because of monocular vision. Their view is very wide because their eyes are flat and not oval, like ours. They can see almost everything in focus, near or far, just like a wide angle lens. Nov 02 - Streetby hajekaComment by krnodil: Neat placement of the plane. I'm curious to see what it would look like with the plane cutting straight through just the horizontally-positioned blades on the windmill in the back. |
