The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself. To free your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come, to laugh at world and at life, not doing what others are expecting you to do, but just following and listening to what's in your heart. DPC it’s a wonderful learning place where everyone should be supported on their way to be a photographer. This reminds me of the few months that I spent in Michigan. Snow, cold, train tracks, grey sky. I was not happy with the grey skies that lasted for months after moving there from sunny West Palm Beach in S Florida.
The road crossing and the side track are a good metaphor for the way life goes along. The sort of underexposed look in everything except the snow captures the spirit of the weather very well.
