Almost packed...by hajekaComment by Cory: How did this not manage to get a single comment?!
I love the image, it looks like you're going to take your camera on a romantic date (something my fiancee suspects I do... She doesn't have lens envy, it's more like lens jealousy... :) )...
Really a clever concept that worked pretty well... I'd want just a little more sharpness and the cables in the front (and that white line in the background on the left) are distracting me from your subject.. |

Watching the cityby hajekaComment by DCNUTTER: It looks like you shot this using a cloudy, shade or even tungsten white balance setting. The color cast is very bad unfortunately. The warmth of the color cast doesn't correlate with the coldness of the winter scene. Try using a daylight or sunny white balance to get it close or shoot in RAW to adjust the white balance in processing. Then you can remove the color cast and push the temp either way. I suggest a much cooler temp for this scene. Also, if you can adjust the exposure compensation on your camera as well as the ability to shoot in something other than auto such as aperture priority mode try setting the it to +1 EV for winter scenes to expose the snow properly. A little trial and error depending on a clear or overcast day. Good luck. |
