I like the vignette you choose to use, it really emphasizes the ship. Good composition with the industry in the background to add to the picture but not over power it.

I think I'd crop out that grass on the right. It would make the trees less centered, and pull our eye to them more, due to the negative space to the left. Nice focus. It might be cool in BW too. Just a thought. ;~D

I like this alot. The blur enhances the feel of the photo, and I love the color tones. I think Muckpond is on to something with maybe making the blur fade into the focused part a little more gradually, but it really catches your eye as soon as it pops up on your screen!

love the colors in this true slice-of-life shot. Also, I can identify with the piles of STUFF. My son and husband had a boy scout hike scheduled for a weekend in August, so they got out all their hike stuff... hike got rescheduled till mid-September, stuff stayed out... hike got cancelled, guess what's still heaped around all over the place in the garage. Sigh.

I like the soft focus of the shot and the nice control of DOF. My first reaction was the I would have liked a tighter crop but I like the touch of muted color of the blossoms at the top as well.
