Good minimalist photo! At first I thought the sky should be a little darker, but the more I look at it, the more I think you got it just right. The big light sky balances the darker bottom third of the photo.

This looks like one of those games at the carnival where you try to throw rings around a bottle to win a $2 stuffed toy, but it only takes $49 and 2 hours to get it. Nice find and good job on creating a moody shot.

Its ok without sharpening, you really give the sense that 23km were walked.
The tiny person along with the trees (are they trees?) on the left bring out the size of the land
