Really love the colors and how you controlled the DOF to lead our eyes through the back of the picture. I personnally prefer that the BG is now totally black. I feel that otherwise, the watermelon would look as if it's floating.

Perfect DoF! Nearly the entire grapefruit is in focus, but the glass starts to soften... excellent. Try a square or horizontal crop however. Such a great texture in the fruit.
