You have a very nice series going here, with a definite style. If I was so lucky & these were mine I think I'd be looking for a richer black. I often get good results using a Curves layer adjustment. You might have to remove the white specks by hand. Then have them printed on canvas & hang them together in the kitchen or dining room (or sell them to a restaurant). "D

These are a strange fruit. I think the texture is like your chewing dry paper but they have quite a nice flavour and aftertaste.

I'm not getting the idea behind this for the challenge topic. The shot is also a bit too grainy, contrasty, and abstract for my taste. Though the object on the left has interesting lighting and textures, the overblown umbrella bokeh is too different in style to make this a cohesive image for me.
