Exceptional BW conversion... Many people do not know how to convert and edit for BW, but you nailed it perfectly. Very nice work, with emphasis on the eyes. The shallow DOF helps to draw my attention to her eyes, which are the best part of the image. The dirt smudges help to add character. 10 from me, and one of my favorites in the challenge. I hope to see this ribbon!

Great subject and title, but I wish the size of the entry was up to the DPC maximum recommended size (640 px on the largest dimension) so I can inspect it closer.
