I really like the photo, but it doesn't quite meet the challenge to me. I will give you the benefit of the doubt, but really would have liked to see the lighthouse as the feature of the picture -- not just some part of it that the title has to make. It's just a thought, but maybe you could have cropped the image so that the lighthouse was the main focus with the trees around it, or possibly you could have put the lighthouse on a third. One feature of the photo that was offputting was the sunlight pouring through the trees too intensely.
If your camera is good enough (I don't know what camera you have) then you should have got the resolution to just use the lighthouse as though the trees in the bottom left corner were the border.

I fear this shot will suffer from a lot of 'I can't see the roundness' comments. Well, I can see it. Nice shot, great exposure. Bit of noise but it's a challenging situation. Good feeling to it.
