the scream redux or fear of public nudityby smardazComment by EL-ROI: Straight from a dream! LI like what you did here. The only thing I can think of to critique would be the edge of the man cutout on the background. The back lighting on the man doesn't fit with the lighting in the background scene. |

Otis - Honestlyby smardazComment by smardaz: Originally posted by vikas: Great portrait, those eyes are razor sharp and show a lot of emotion. IMO it would have looked amazing in B&W, also being advanced editing I would have removed the white spots in the background and t-shirt to clean up the shot - another suggestion is the crop from left needs to be a just a tad bit more. |
thanks for the thoughts Vikas, I did sample it in b&w but the lightly desated color version got good feedback over at 500px so I went with that. The white spots were intentional however. I have taken to using baby powder in different ways in shots lately. Like here. |

Otis - Honestlyby smardazComment by Leo: I really like the lighting in this portrait. Like the detail and textures of the model. Like his expression. Didn't realize this was yours, but I like what you're doing. Keep it up. |

Otis - Honestlyby smardazComment by Chandi: Gritty/Grungy... Wonderful processing. Nice lighting - love that back light giving a definition of the outline. |
