Kidnappedby smardazComment by UNTITLED: This is cool and different...kind of modern cinematic. Great color tones, that seem to fit the theme. Well done! |

Kidnappedby smardazComment by noraneko: Interesting photo. Might be a great OOBIE candidate :-) I think this one falls into the realm of art. The more I look at it, the more I like it. |

Closed For Remodelingby smardazComment by zaflabout: this shot has great potential, in my opinion it should have scored higher, but that's my take on how i would redo it:
first i would leave the whole door in the composition, or zoom out if possible. second i think it's a tad oversharpened.
third i am not sure if you used a polarizer for this shot or not, if you did not i would recomend using one to try to get the relefection out of the window. and finally i would def. recomend tone mapping for this shot. |

Quiet Reflections at Snoqualmie Passby smardazComment by zaflabout: nope i don't get it, 5.7 on this shot!!!!!
i really try to think sometimes why the shot did not score well, but in the case of this shot, i can't even point my finger on it...
great job on the reflections!!! |

sinking into despairby smardazComment by zaflabout: great concept, but in my opinion the execution was what took down your score.
i know it's hard to do the "ghosting" effect with long exposure, but perhaps the image could have been a bit sharper on the model.
on another note, more contrast would have added to the dramatic effect of the shot.
great idea nonetheless |

Kidnappedby smardazComment by BHuseman: Eh, this could have been better, but I feel you missed your mark on this. The blown out windshield detracts from the main subject. There isn't a feeling of being kidnapped either. I think a reshoot could really sell this. Maybe lowering the camera a bit. Some duct tape? 5. |

Kidnappedby smardazComment by Jutilda: MAN - that's a scary thought. Great idea though. I think that it would work better without the frame and some of the ultra white cropped off of the top and bottom. Maybe it's just me - I've really gotten into panoramic crops these days. Still, I like the title and the image - gutsy choice. |
