the kid under the stairsby smardazComment by Sirashley: Good lines and composition. The pose is very natural too. The background is a tad distracting though, and the lighting on his face is alittle harsh (While I like this effect, the technical junkies may dock you for it). All in all, this photo has alot of potential. I would love to see this shot with the background blacked out or darkened after the challenge. Lastly, going back to the harsh lighting on the face, I wanted to mention that I like it because it draws the viewers attention right to the subject. Just my two cents, overall I think its a good shot... |

Black with a little white please.....by smardazComment by jotaga: I like the idea, but the fact that all the lines on the picture (the wings of the sugar cup, the spoon and the milk) are paralels, but not the line of the (mouth of the milk cup) is a little disturbing to me. Also, i cant avoid to look at the line on the table on the right bottom (the junction of the wood). I think it would be better if you avoided it.
PS.: Sorry for my english... today im lazy to research the words i dont know... |

Black with a little white please.....by smardazComment by Ja-9: you have an excellent idea...but...I had thought that this was to be duotone (not B&W) and your shot screams B&W you have no other tone in this that I can see and nothing is in excellent focus |
