I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Great moody image - bring your own story stuff. I really like the POV and the use of the straight lines.

Critical stuff: I'm not a fan of your conversion, I think a stronger contrast treatment might have been better - the grain too, enough to annoy but not enough to delight.

Overall: I really like the idea but I'm not sure this is an optimal edit.

I didn't vote this challenge, but now I wish I had, so that I could give this the high vote it deserves! Reminds me a bit of one of my own last hour entries that was also a piece of inspired idiocy. Unlike myself, you missed the brown by a wide margin.

LOL - I love the whole story here, Jason. You did what I would've done - something random and pretentious. Still, you applied some constraints to it that kept our resident fine art critics from picking it out of the crowd. They were on to you.
