Comment by Ken:
You did a good job exposing for the sky, but it would be nice to see the water brightened just a bit, especially around the boat. I agree with the other comment about B&W.

Another great transformation for this challenge! You did a great job of editing and bringing out the leading line. I do like the saturation, but wonder if it's a bit overpowering. Contrast looks very good to me.

Wow! What a difference. I love this shot now, it has so much more pizzazz than the original.

Love the overall feel of what you did with it. The crop is excellent, the saturation lends the fall feeling. You might have overshapened just a tad though.

If you were up for it, I'd like to see this in black and white. Crop to bring in the boat closer and then, although you wanted it in low key, I'd want to see it lightened a bit for detail. This would be interesting with some dodging and burning. Love the moody seacape tone.

I'm probably too late but here's my suggestion. I'd crop out some of the white space at the top and maybe even crop the right side to the point where the road edge on the left starts at the bottom right corner. And then like others said, playing with contrast etc.

This has a nice inviting look. I would like to travel that road. Those lovely autumn colours could be zinged up a bit. I think it could lose a bit of foreground, perhaps at about the level that fits on the page before scrolling.

Lovely shot... the sky is really cool, and the light coming from the clouds is really nice. I wouldnt necessarily crop any more ocean out... i kinda like the 50/50 composition here, but I would fix the tilt in the horizon. Nice photo.

I think this is a very nice scene, but it could be improved by a few edits. The colours seem a little flat, so I would add contrast. I think this would also be nice with the sky cropped out. Its blown out as it is. Have you considered a horizontal crop, keeping the far end of the roadway in the center?

Yes, I agree with [thumb]lynnesite[/thumb]. I'd crop some of the ocean out, level up the horizon and I'd also try to bring out more of the orange tones in the sky.
