You used the long shape well, but the scene isn't too interesting to me. Maybe it'd grab me more with higher contrast, or a brighter foreground, or something to look at in the foreground? I'm sorry I can't give you more specifics.

I was curious how you shot this, since I couldn't find any distinctive shadows indicating that the sun was in the "correct" direction, and the small patch of blue suggested the possibility of a substantially clear sky above. I take it from your notes that it was somewhat more overcast than it looks?

Otherwise, I agree with Don -- it looks unreal, and got one of my highest votes. :-)

This vividly colored, almost luridly so, scene looks like a page from a Chamber of Commerce booklet. That's not saying I don't like it. It's verve and ebullience carry the day.
